I have the LaserJet Pro M12w installed as a wireless network printer on Windows 10. Whenever I print, even a test page, I get an immediate error message notification (simply stating the page could not be printed) on the bottom right of the screen even though the print job is completely successful. While I'm happy the print job works, having this error message with its accompanying tone go off every time I print is very annoying and leads me to believe something is wrong with my printer setup. I've tried unistalling and reinstalling the printer. The Print and Scan Doctor application also runs successfully and shows no issues with the printer. Thanks for your help.I had to make some changes to the steps you listed to get it to work though. Originally, when I tried to delete the driver from the Print Server Driver dialog, I got the message tha it couldn't be deleted because it was in use.
I deleted the printer and tried again. This time I got a message that I didn't have access to a file (I assume it was in the driver package) and so it couldn't be deleted. I rebooted the computer. As far as I could tell, nothing was installing automatically, so I went to the Devices and Printers control panel screen and manually added a printer.
